Release to SNP with increased values

Hi all,

I'me using a background job to release forecast from DP to SNP. I'm using a release profile at material level and with category FA.

In the release for some products I'm getting diferent values in key figure in SNP. The values are much more bigger, more than the double. I'm comparing values in DP at material level (not deagregated by location or division...).

Anyone has an ideia why this is happening?

Thanks and Regards,

Teresa

Probably the new released forecast is not overwriting the old ones..I suggest you the foolowing steps:

1. Try deleting the forecast using Tcode /sapapo/md74. Initially just check with Test mode option selected, if you feel comfortable then uncheck the test mode and check the 'create list' and 'delete' options.

2. check in SNP..you should not see the forecast, now release the forecast and compare it.

If still does not work..then delete the forecast and release it manually using Tcode /sapapo/mc90 with Results log option checked.

Hi,

thanks for your help. I dont feel very confortable on doing this delete in productive system but I can not reproduce this error in other system.

In Tcode /sapapo/md74 what shall put in "Requirements Strategy" ? We use the category FA to release.

And in options, what does it mean the option "In all planning segments"?

In "Requirements Date" shoul I put the horizont that we see in planning book?

Thanks and Regards,

Teresa

HI,

In our productive environment we use the delete mechanism mentioned above.

We have a scheduled batch for /sapapo/rlcdelete for this.

This is followed by a load of forecast from DP to SNP, thus matching the two forecasts.

This works best for us..

Hi Teresa,

For requirement strategy, you should refer to the material master (MRP view), or product master in apo (demand tab). "all planning versions" mean planned ind requirements (PIR) will be deleted for all requirement stretegies if this is checked and PIRs will be deleted for the defined requirement strategy only if it is unchecked.

Hope this should help.

Please check if "Add data" check box is selected than new forecast data will add to the existing forecast data.

Hi,

do you mean the "add data" in tx /SAPAPO/MC90 ? We dont use this tx, we have a DP background job.
