SAP PO B2B - TPM - Where is the "Functional profile" value read from "Agreement"?

Hi experts,

I'm playing with B2B inbound scenario in SAP PO 7.5 SP10, I configured the following Agreement & EDI CC( I created the 2 IFlows, FILE ->EDI_SEPARATOR& EDI_SEPARATOR ->FILE ), but I can't see the "Functional profile" value anywhere in runtime, I expected to find it in the message attributes( like everything else from Agreement ) , but it is not there:

Agreement:

Profile:

EDI sender CC:

Message processing log:

Any ideas?, Where is it?.

I know that there are 3 UDFs called "getAgreementID" in "Trading Partner Management" function library, but I hope to get the values from "somewhere" to avoid use them( It hasn't sense for me call that UDFs if the Agreement values are in runtime ).

+Update:I made a trace with xpi_inspector of EDI_SEPARATOR channels & modules & localtions mentioned in note 2172012 and nothing, the value of "Functional Profile" is not presend in anywhere, I'm a bit scared about it.

+Update:I found that the "Functional profile" is not being stored in the party.

I put dummy values in all the parameters and the only one that is missing is the "Functional Profile":

We have the following B2B add-on component versions:

any idea? :S

+Update:I analyzed the TPMContentAccessModule code and It's very clear that the functional profile is not being use there and that the parameters are read from party:

I think that someone should check this from SAP side.

Kind Regards.

Max.

    Hi Maximiliano

I know it's an old question, but why don't you use the UDF getFunctionalProfileName? I know you need the agreementID for this, which you need to fetch via the getAgreementID function. It's a pity that the name is not added to the dynamic configuration header, but it's not such a big deal neither. :-)

    • OK, I have now tried to use getAgreementID and must say it's terrible indeed. Why do we have to pass all these details to the function when in fact they should be know to PO during message processing? If only PO would store the agreement ID in the Dynamic Configuration too. That would make it easy to use getFunctionalProfileName.
