MRP Type not populated in WRF_MATERIAL_MAINTAINDATA_RT

Dear SAP Gurus,

I am new to IS-Retail module, but I successfully created article w/ variants using BAPI WRF_MATERIAL_MAINTAINDATA_RT, all views expect for Listing and Logistics: store view. I temporarily excluded these views in BAPI since I am encountering an error: Enter the MRP Type.

When I view the created material, the MRP Type in Logistics: store tab is blank; wherein Logistics: DC MRP Type field is populated.

Let me know if I missed something out except for BAPIE1MARCRT-MRP_TYPE.

Thanks!

Maecy

Hi Maecy,

Please ensure the value for BAPIE1MARCRTX-MRP_TYPE = 'X', also please check in header data BAPIE1MATHEAD-LOGST_VIEW = 'X'.

Kind regards

Hi Nelly,

I forgot to mention that all corresponding fields needed are already marked as 'X' in Checkbox Structure BAPIE1MARCRTX.

When I set BAPIE1MATHEAD-LOGST_VIEW = 'X', an error occurs, Enter the MRP Type.

Thanks,

Maecy

1 - Required values for MRP_TYPE in Logistics Store and Logistics DC views may be different, depending on configuration. Can you create an Article using T-Code MM41, or change using MM42, and see the correct values to be maintained?

2 - If you are not actually supplying a value for MARP_TYPE, then the resultant value depends on the data maintained for the Reference Article assigned to the Merchandise Category your new Article is being created in. Have you checked the values maintained on the Reference Article?
