Sales Order: Checks against both Value Contract and Quantity Contract

Dear All,

I know that SO can be created with reference to QC (Quantity Contract) or VC (Value Contract).

Q. Is it possible to create a QC wrt VC and then create an SO against the QC.

Basically what the customer intends to do is:

1. Create a VC for $ 10000

2. Create 10 Quantity Contracts for 50 Materials each against the VC

3. Create SO against each QC.

When the SO is created the system should check that

a. Quantity 50 of the QC is not exceeded

b. Value 10000 of the VC is not exceeded

I am from a technical background hence I am not sure if creating a SO wrt QC, where QC is created wrt VC is a standard way of creating Sales Order. How can I implement this scenario where the SO checks against both QC and VC.

Thanks and Regards,

Ashwin
