Currently we have new business leads created via questionaire or any other social media. It then gets sync to C4C. Some of the leads are from exisiting customer but unfortunately when you edit the lead, the field "company name" is a free text field. Would it be possible to do a lookup on the existing customer master data?

The solution allows you to import a large quantity of leads at once using Microsoft Excel or using SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer's APIs.

Administrators can set up the solution to use an existing account as default for lead creation.

Go to Business Configuration-> Implementation Projects-> Your Project-> Edit Project Scope-> Questions-> Sales-> Lead Management-> Leads
to find the corresponding scoping question.

Hi Wendy,

The "Use Existing Account" flag is only available in the Lead Quick Create, not for created lead.

If you have created lead with compnay same name (exiting account in C4C ) and leads generated via web service and push through External system then in C4C you can use functionality "Associate Account" to change from Company to Account.

Please refer below detail as example

- Suppose you have an existing account name "Test ABC" in C4C

- Now you create a lead with same name "Test ABC" as company in external system

- Once you push lead from external system to C4C then you should see the lead in C4C you just synced from external system

- Now open the lead -> Click on Action button -> Associate Account

- New Associate Account screen will be open where system also give results of existing similar Accounts

- Select the account as per requirement

- Save

- Now the existing lead company name will be changed as Account.
