Posting retirement by FB01 transaction

Hi!

I'd like to post an asset retirement through by FB01 transaction but If I put in the selection screen the post key 75, the asset number XXXXXXXXX and the Transaction Type 200 "Retirement without revenue" error message AA 354 appears "Posting retirement only possible via revenue account".

Could you explain me why?

Hi,

you have to enter the vendor and the revenue account. On the revenue account line item you will find a check box "asset retirement". Click this and a popup will appear, where you can specify asset specific retirement information.

Hi .....

Retireemnt is 2 types.

1. Scrap

2.Retireemnt with revenue

Please check your entry again and revert.
