how to transport variable variants

I want to transport the variable variants? how can i do that? in BI7 system.

Hi Kiran,

Variable variants, I guess cant be transported, as they relate to data.

Was this possible in 3.X? As i knew we didnt have an option there as well.

Looks Funny, but i got the variants i have created in Dev to QAS. I thought of creating in QA but when i checked them, they already exists. Did u checked in RSRT , Query Variants after transporting the Query ?

In my case i have used the Variant in the APD's.

Variants table is RSRPARAMETRIZA, if i transport the table entries will the variants available in production?

Hi,

Table entries won't transport, you directly create Varients in Production. Else at the time of Varients creation if it will ask any request no then give it an dthen transport the req.. Else check in RSA1-->Transport conenction .....

Table entries we can transport, i transported table entries the global query variants are transported....
