Material availability at MB24 shows different value than MMBE

Hello,

I have created Reservation of qty 1 with reference to planned order , When I check material availability at MB24 it shows me Qty for available check is 1 where as MMBE shows me stock of 0.

Also In PM order availability shows " Qty available " .

Kindly suggest what could be cause.

Hi,

Basically we should not compare MMBE with MB24,Because MB24 is showing reservation list and MMBE is showing available stock.

You can compare MMBE with MB52.

available stock and stock on hand is something different.

If you have set availability check to ND inyour material master, then SAP does not check availability, it just assumes that you have endless stock.

With real availability check SAP checks if you will have sufficient stock at the date when it is needed, it includes planned future receipts and as well planned goods issues.

Best check your availability situtation in MD04 transaction (and make sure that availability check is active in your material master MRP views)

I think in OPJJ the checking rule is considering the RLT into calculation.

So check the need date, then check the PLDT time for this material, i think the need date for the material is more than the replenishment time.

Check & revert.

RLT is not taken into consideration..

Check without RLT is" ticked " already.

In MMBE what you selected on your input screen, i.e. what all values are you passing & which boxes are ticked?
