I've been working like crazy trying to get this ecommerce ready for a demo my boss wants to do next week, somehow yesterday the manager account became unable to login. I'm quite sure I didn't do anything to it, I didn't do anything to the login functionality... at this point I don't really care how it happened, I just need to fix it. But I'm at a complete loss as what to do now.
B1 and the Synch Manager are on one server, IIS and webtools is on another. Webtools 2007.0.624.0
I ran installer.exe -resetuser and changed the password, nothing. Ran installer.exe -tasks after deleting from usersrole and users for 'manager' and created the default superuser; again nothing. I added superuser role to the one login I can use (the demo user which is a BP contact) and tried to reset the password through the Administration -> BPs -> Licensed Users for manager; still no luck.
The only thing I see that may indicate what's going on is whenever I try to login, it's populating users LastLockoutDate. I don't know if there's somewhere it's decided the user is locked that I'm not resetting or what.
I'm really frustrated, I need to get the superuser role off that account for the demo and I'd like manager back functioning - any help would be greatly appreciated.
UPDATE: I just ended up restoring the ecommerce database from a couple days ago. Everything seems to be fine now. I'm still waiting on the item sync to finish, but so far so good. I still would like to know if anyone has any ideas what exactly happened there to cause this explosion and if it happens again how I can fix it. I want to install SP1 but I couldn't do it so close to the demo time as I had modified a fair number of files that were updated, I didn't have the time to merge them before the demo.
