trigger output when adding PO item

Hello all,

A customer wold like to triger a new outputtype when adding a new line to a previously saved PO. A standard NEU output item is created upon initial creation of the PO. The new line typically is a returns item, added manually in ME22N. A new output ZRET needs to be created at that time. Any suggestions on how to achieve this?

MM/Purchasing/Messages/Output control/ Message determination schema/assign schema to …: ‘M’ should be flagged.

Thanks for taking the time! I don't have an 'M' option to flag. There is T/N/P/R.... However, 'N' is already flagged. Did you mean 'N'?

Fine-Tuned Control: Purchase Order

Create message type ZRET for operation 2 Change

Thank you for your time Ian,

unfortunately your solution does not work for this particular situation. ZRET did not get triggered after making the fine-tuned control settings.

I am unsure why, as a new NEU does get triggered whe I assign it to the change operation '2'.

Perhaps this is because i could not add the MN04 settings, the system tell me the condition records already exist.
