Hi,
I have built a second hierarchy in my account dimension to manage statutory reporting rollups required. I have two breakdowns root members - P&L and Balance Sheet. In my balance sheet I have a rollup of about 5 levels deep that returns my P&L for Financial Year (PLFinYear). In my Balance Sheet that value also needs to be returned (BSPLFinYear). I get numerous problems when trying to enter a calculation - I entered [PLFinYear] in the H2 calc for BSPLFinYear. I firstly had a problem where my data started duplicating, then I got a recursion error also. I know it is not best practice to use MDX in the dimensions so I am now trying to load the data into BSPLFinYear via Account Transformations.
When I select a single sub consolidation member with only one level of leaf members below it the value is transferred correctly, however as my PLFinYear has about 5 levels below it once I Select PLFinYear as my Source column I no longe understand the value that is being returned.
My Account Transformation is basic: PLFinYear into BSPLFinYear (which is a leaf node with no calc), all other members are the same i.e. No Flow, Input etc.
Is anyone aware of issues with account transformations and consolidation members? I thought that perhaps it was loading up all base members as well as subconsolidation points below PLFinYear, but I can't seem to prove that with the figures.
Any advice would really be appreciated.
Kind Regards,
Fiona
