Hello Colleagues,

How to test Internationalization in eCATT .

I mean how to test the same application when i logon with different languages.

Now i am able to test my application with EN ( English ) but i need to test the application for DE ( German ) and other languages if needed.

Can anyone kindly guide me here ?.

Hello Harsha,

You can specify the language you want to run the script in RFC that you use to connect to the target system.

If you goto transaction SM59 and search for your RFC in the Logon&Security screen you will find the Logon details wherein you can specify the logon language if noting is specified then the logon language of the calling program applies.

Here you can change the logon language for ex: DE to run the script in German language.

So the language is change at one central location and not in the script however the script needs to be adapted to run in different languages specially wherein you have recorded identifing the screen texts.
