Quick Links not displayin

Hello,

We have EP 7.0 SP 14 and ECC 6.0 with HR latest SP level.

All SLD and Jco configuration has been done and i am able to See the Personal Data and Family and members under personel information.

But under the same i am not able to display the quick link for address and bank details same if i go under my pcd and display / Preview i am able to see the data for the same user..

The quick link and the link for address and the bank information is not visible under Employee self service Navigation.

Please can any one tell me the steps to resolve the issue..

Balaji,

You have to goto the Service/Resource of the specific service in SPRO-> Cross Application Components -> Home Page Framework....and check the box for Quiklink there...only then you wil see it on portal....

Thanks for the reply,

That issue got resolved, now when i login to portal and Click on Quick link Address or personnel data it is not showing any data.

When i go and preview in the iview under PCD it is displaying the view but not data..

This is the log i found in default trace.

URL does not point to an object of type INavigationConnectorNode: portal_content/com.sap.pct/every_user/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.bp_folder/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.iviews/com.sap.pct.erp.ess.personal_information

Hi

When you are giving the PCD path , i think it should be precede wtih ROLES .

for example your pcd path is ab..... then you have to give like ROLE://<abc>

Sorry for the late Reply, I have maintained all pcd with ROLE only.

Currently i upgrade my SP and changed the backend systemclient.

After that.

1. I am able to See the overview page

2. Personnel information page ( displaying Address and Personel data service)

3. when i click on the Address it is displaying Page Cant found.

Same Content if i try to preview under my PCD it will hang for address and for others like bank information it displays the iview but not the data.

All my JCO connection is working fine test performed successfully.

I have given the permission for all the iviews.

Please provide me some solution for the same.

Error was in giving PCD location in spro settings.

Hi,

Further to My last Reply..

Now i am able to See the data when i do preview of iview under my PCD for Personal information.

Same If i go through my ESS menu i.e

Employee Self Service>Personal Information> Address.

I am getting error " Page not found or not available "

I am getting this error After upgrade of SP.

Hi Balaji,

Try this to check whether the PCD link you specified is appropriate or not in SPRO Homepage configuration. You can copy the pcd URL of address ( ROLES://... link of the address) from SPRO and try to directly execute in portal using :

http://portal.domain.com:port/irj/portal?NavigationTarget=Roles:// link

See if this opens the address service. If doesnt, check for the PCD URL in the address iview under the ESS role and try to execute directly by using the above URL.

Hi

For the Bank application under Employee self Service is missing the configuration at Home page configuration at SPRO level.

Check Home Page configuration for Bank (0006) infotype.
