Hello experts,

I had an issue while releasing the billing document
"Characteristic value xxx does not exist for characteristic yyy"

So found out that a description was missing in KES1 took care of that, tested with couple of documents which got released.

Now my question is, before testing with more.

How can i find out, which Derivation Rule is the billing document Attached to or Calling ?

I looked up the billing document VF03 no luck

I looked up the material MM03 no luck

Your input is greatly appreciated.

Hi

you can simulate Billing transfer with transaction KE4ST and check which step derived particular characteristic. Also you can check KEDD to get overview of derivation steps for Operating concern. Note that one characteristic can have multiple derivation steps and which one to call depends on prerequisite of the step.

I appreciate your fast reply.

KE4ST populated the error, and it is something i think i can trace.

But KEDD it looks a bit complicated for me right now.

T-Code KE4ST is the simulation for T-Code VFX3 as far as i understood.

Is there a list of the simulation T-Codes ?
