Hi Experts,

Am trying to create the supply plan by using the Unified planning area and have created the necessary master data as below and executing the time series Heuristics operator with no results/ shortage at customer. I have updated the "consensus Demand" Key figure at the customer location with demand values across horizon. Kindly advise if am missing any MD configuration or any setting which might cause this?

The network is Customer-> DC->DC-> Factory and the MD maintained is as below:

Hi Arun,

Suggest you to run Check mode to validate master data consistency. I assume quotas are not setup correctly to flow the demand.

Hi Rohit,

I see that the operator is commented as "deprecated" Please see the screen below:

Looks like its not available in new version as it is greyed out when I try to assign it to planning area. See below.

Kindly advise if am missing anything here please. Thanks in advance!

Hi Arun,

Yes this is deprecated.

Now SCM operator are available in new app called 'S&OP operator profile' in home screen.

1 thing that I see missing is the MDT ( Production Source Item ).

Assuming that you are not interested in generating dependent demand for component SKU's in that case, have you maintained the source type in Production Source Header MDT as U or P ?

Also can you share the log of the heuristic ?

Hi Arun,

Unified planning area configuration should work properly. I would suggest checking the master data files once again with sources and run the supply operator. Please share your operator error or information log.

Hi Arun, not sure if you still have the issue - best is to pull the business log and see what happened (or messages issued) when the algorithm ran.

I see subnetwork missing, did you maintain subnetwork master data and also it's value in the prod/loc master data file?

Hello Arun,

Pull "Dependent Demand" KF into planning view and check if you see any value. If there is no value then it means, demand has not propagated to DC/plant level which means there is a problem in master data. Check MD files. Make sure you maintain UOM conversion entries too. System may be generating values but you are not able to view them as conversions values are missing.
