Scheduling backup of SAP system with DB2

Hi,

I am new to SAP system with DB2 database. I have worked on SAP with Oracle. Now I have installed a SAP ECC system with DB2 V9.1 FP 5 version on SUSE linux 10 SP2.

I have to plan and schedule backup for this system so that I can recover the system at any point of time.

Backup should be stored in the shared disk in our backup server and not on tape.

I have enabled the Log archive method and did one complete offline backup.

My requirement:

1. Have to schedule regular backup on daily basis so that I can recover data at any point of time using backup and log files.

2. Also how to automatically remove the unwanted archive files after one complete successful system backup.

This has to happen automatically once I schedule it. Please help me to do the same.

Regards,

Nalla.
