Add SAP Standard field (In-App Extensibility) S/4 HANA Cloud

Hello,

I've been checking tones of information about extensibility in S/4 Hana Cloud System. I don't find what I'm looking for and I hope some S/4 HANA Cloud Expert could resolve our issue.


Explanation and my knowledgment is below:
Our requirement is add the variable "Planning Group" to for example "Manager Customer Master Data" app. It allows "UI Adapatation" mode so we could add some fields to the related business context.

PROBLEM 1:
I can't join my "Planning Group" standard field because it's not available on the business context of the app (I can't even create business context associations). Finally, I could add just NEW and CUSTOM fields, not standard. Is this correct?

PROBLEM 2:
The only information I have now about the standard field "Planning Group" is the following:

• CDS View: I_GLACCOUNTINCOMPANYCODE
• Field: CASHPLANNINGGROUP (FDGRV)
• In SAP On-premise is: KNB1-FDGRV | LFB1-FDGRV

We are now on the cloud architecture and can't go to SE11 and check the domain list of values... So how could I get all the possible values of "Planning Group"?

My possible solution is:
Create a copy of the list values of the "Planning Group" using a Custom Business Application. Then I could add it as a new custom field to the Business Context of the app, and the result will be the same, but I will have to mantain all changes of standard "Planning Group" in my "Custom Planning Group Business" app.

Personally I think it should be an option to avoid this kind of situation. I could extend side-by-side the app, but then I will need to access the list of values (PROBLEM 2), and I also don't know how to get them.

CDS Views involved:

• I_BUSINESSPARTNER
• I_CUSTOMER

Hi all,

Hasn't anyone faced this problem ? I can't believe this need is considered "an advanced" functionnality.

Please, danielsanchezbirchman have you found any solution ? Duplicating values from standard table to Fiori App custom fields list values is not an option.
