Reg. Purchase requisition creation.

Dear Experts

Pls consider the below scenario

Material is created(Finished product) and one component also created then material BOM is exploded

in MD04 that component material didn't convert to purchase requisition. Pls help me. Where is the key point to be configured.

Hi,

Your requirement is it like ,PRs are not genrated for dependent requirement.. what might be the settings..

Go to OPL8 and select open Reservation/Prs -3 and check collective PR

this might solve u r problem

Hi,

I guess that you ran MRP to explode the BOM, and that there are requirements for the finished product. In this case you should at least get a planned order for the component. If you don't then your MRP settings or planning data are incorrect.

If you get a planned order, but would rather get a purchase requisition instead, you need to make sure that procurement type of component is "F" (MRP 2 view of material master), and creation indicator (create purchase req.) in the control of MRP run screen (like MD01) is set to "1".

Hi,

Do Below Checks,

- In MRP 4 View of Finish Product check MRP for Dependent Requirements.It should be blank (Dependent requirements are Planned)

- MRP type of that components.It should be PD/P1/P2.

Dear

Check your MRP type.

Also check the stock of raw material available. If sufficient stock is available, system will not create purchase req. for raw materials.
