Open items in FBL3N

Hello,

I have a problem in displaying the open items and cleared items for a GL A/C in reports (FBL3N, FAGLL03).

Message obtained : No items selected.

In FS00, the following are checked :

Open item management

Line item display

Is there any other configuration required?

I think that I must precise that the configuration (checks) for open line items in FS00 was done after the creation of the account.

Does this have an impact now on the use of the reports FBL3N?

Hi,

You must have done the FX transaction earlier. Right? Or is this the first time you are doing?

If you have done earlier and by some reason the reconciliation accounts are changed, then any further changes to these settings will impact your FBL3N report in future. (will be posted to new accounts)

Thanks, I have cross-checked and tried to view 'All items' without dates and all item types. But I get the same result : No items selected.

There is a document number which can be viewed for my GL A/C (Balance sheet A/C) with its postings in FB03.

Any clue ?

Hello,

Though you have maintained your account as open item and cleared item, none of the line must have been cleared so far.

You need to clear the items through F-03 for this account. To clear the items debit and credit total must have been tallied. You one select those line items you want to clear. Then the amount will come to blue colour and non-clearing line items will come to black colour. Make sure the difference between these is ZERO.

Now, you can see in FBL3N, all items (select check box Normal items)

Hi Diana,

There is no other configuration required to view cleared items / open items. Probably the date you were entering to view the open items does not have any open items.

Hi Diana

Check whether you have ticked the check box for ALL ITEMS and the date interval range is correctly giv en.

Also see that you have put a tick in the NORMAL ITEMS check box.

i guess once you do this, it should display all the line items. ONLY THE OTHER POSSIBLITY of not displaying is that the GL account you have selected does not have any transactions, if you have selected the Open items and as well line items in the GL master.
