Agent Assignment

Hello all

I have a doubt about how to assign a task to a user when there are no agents selected for that task. I go to the WF log and can view the task but is not assigned to anyone. Any ideas?

Hello,

Try forwarding the workitem in SWI2_ADM1.

Hi,

If no agents got selected by the rule then,

Run the transaction SWI2_ADM1 and forward it to the any one of possible agent of the Task.

And if you want to assign a new agent to task then goto PFTC select change mode

navigate to "Additional data>Agent Asignment>maintain agent,

There select the task and click the icon of Create agent assignment, then you can choose any org object, (i'e organisation, job, position, user).

Then the users assigned to that object will be assigned to that task.

Hope it will be usefull.

Hi,

You can pass workitem id as a input to 'SWIA' . Execute SWIA so in the next screen , there is a option ( Button is available on the screen) through that you can assigne agent to that workitem.

Thanks,

Hi AM,

if I am not wrong with your question,

you want to assign a task to a user in WF definition.

If yes, go to the task thru PFTC_CHG, goto Additional Data>Agent Assignment and here assign the users.

Hope it helps.

Hi Armando,

You can enable ad hoc agent assignment for the task and assign agents are run time.

Else, if the task is already created and you want to add agent for the same, you can run t-code SWI2_ADM1 and execute your workitem.

Hope this helps!

Hi,

Aside using SWI2_ADM1 you can also try this out.

If the agent determination failed due to incorrect rule, you can rectify the rule first and later restart the error workflow using transaction SWPR.
