Regarding Mexico localisation

Hi ,

Does B1 have Mexico VAT tax function? Does Mexico use 2007 A or 2007 B ?

Can you please let me know

Hi,

Mexico uses 2007A version.

Mexico & Chile

Withholding Type Choose one of the following:

VAT Withholding u2013 identifies the withholding tax code as a withholding related to the VAT Code.

Income Tax Withholding u2013 identifies the income tax withholding code related to indirect withholding taxes.

Base Type Choose one of the following:

Net u2013 identifies the base amount for tax calculation as the amount before VAT.

VAT u2013 identifies the base amount for tax calculation as the VAT amount.

Hi Jitin ,

I am not sure but I think Mexico use VAT tax .Is there any workaround suggested for this .

Hi

Yes Mexico is used in 2007A.

Mexico localization usess the VAT (called in Spanish 'IVA')

Also you can find the Folio number functionality for the Legal Fiscal books.

Hi Paulo,

What you are suggesting means I donot need any addon to support VAT feature .It is provided by default .

I have installed with localisation Mexico and I can see withholding taxes setup with IVA .

(I am not familiar with language as well as setting with Mexico)

If I am not correct ,please let me know .
