ECO Error : An application error occurred

Hi Exparts,

We are implementing SAP E-Commerce for mySAP ERP or SAP R/3, release 5.0.

We have installed the ECO on a ECC 6 server.

We want to connect it to a separate R/3 backend which is SAP v4.7 . It has :

SAP_APPL 470 patch level 25

PI 2004_1_470 patch level 14

I have created the JCO in XCM pointing to SAP R/3 system, and the JCO u2018testu2019 is successful.

I have created a catalog and a webshop in my R/3 system, and Iu2019m able to display it in my B2B application.

Now comes the problem. When ever I try to create a Shopping Busket, Iu2019m getting the erroru2026

An application error occurred

Contact the administrator

I have tried for a Session Tracking. I can see this error:

SAPEngine_Application_Thread[impl:3]_3 Error com.sap.isa.isacore.action.order.CreateBasketAction No connection to backend system

[EXCEPTION]

com.sap.isa.businessobject.CommunicationException: User has no permission to Create ordertemplate at com.sap.isa.isacore.action.order.CreateBasketAction.isaPerform

The basis team is saying that they have given a SAP ALL to the user.

Please suggest where I should check.

Thanks in Advance,

Abir Kundu

The user may still need the appropriate E-Commerce role assigned to them. Here is the list of composite roles available in R/3 4.7

  1. SAP_ISA_B2B_FULL - Internet Sales: Full B2B authorizations

  2. SAP_ISA_B2B_ORDER - Internet Sales: Order creation

  3. SAP_ISA_B2B_RFC - Internet Sales: Role for the B2B RFC user

  4. SAP_ISA_B2B_VIEW - Internet Sales: View-only B2B role

  5. SAP_ISA_B2C_FULL - Internet Sales: Full B2C authorizations

  6. SAP_ISA_B2C_RFC - Internet Sales: Role for the B2C RFC user

  7. SAP_ISA_BOB_FULL - Internet Sales: Full authorizations for Business-On-Behalf

  8. SAP_ISA_SHOPMGMT_FULL - Internet Sales: Full authorizations for Shop Management

  9. SAP_ISA_SHOPMGMT_RFC - Internet Sales: Auth. for the Shop Management RFC user

  10. SAP_ISA_UADM_MANAGER - Internet Sales: Web Shop Manager for User Administration

  11. SAP_ISA_UADM_RFC - Internet Sales: Authorizations for the User Admin RFC user

  12. SAP_ISA_UADM_SUPERUSER - Internet Sales: Super user for User Administration

If they already have the appropriate role or Z role, check if the composite role your Basis team has assigned has the individual role

  1. SAP_ISA_SUB_TEMPLATE_MAINTAIN

Hello

What version of ECO are you using? As you are using a 4.7 backend have you also a stand alone AP 7.0 connected for pricing?

This will need to be configured in the XCM in the IPC section as a connection is needed.

regards

Mark
