XK01 create vendor and workflow event

Hello all,

Is there a workflow event that is, or can be, triggered when the XK01transaction completes?

I'm not very fluent at workflow, so I hope I'm phrasing the question correctly.

Thanks

Ed Baker

    Hi,

First switch on the trace using SWELS transaction and run your transaction (XK01) then

switch off the trace and execute SWEL transaction you will get list of events trigerred.

      Hi Guatham,

Thanks for responding. Pardon my delay in getting back to you.

I tried your method with SWELS and then SWEL. But, there weren't any events.

The only lines in the SWEL display were "Trace On" and "Trace Off"

    Hey Ed

There is a video on ABAP e-learning on SDN for workflow that describes a workflow for the creation of a material , you can use that for ZK01 as well. I used it for HR employee creation and it was very helpful. U just need to find the right business object.

      Hi Ed,

If there is no event available, try triggerig the workflow manually from a save user exit if XK01.

use FM 'EWW_WORKFLOW_START' to trigger the workflow. in the import paramenters of

the FM give workflow id for 'x_task' and if you want to pass any data to workflow use the table

      parameter 'x_container'.

      Regards,

      Dinakar.
