Web Dynpro MDM_SRM_UI_App connection failure error

Hi,

We have installed the MDM instance and deployed the necessary .sca files.

Now, when I try to access the url http://......:50000/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tc_mdmsrmcat~uisearch/MDM_SRM_UI_App

by providing the host name and blank password, I get a connection failure errror.

Please let me know any clues bout the issue.
