Hi guys,
When running a full optimization of a BPC cube (version 10.1 classic BPC), it is giving us a warning because the cube name doesn't exist.
I've checked all the SAP Notes about the fixed infocube name and this parameter is not set for us. Also, I've checked on the table UJA_APPL and the name is the same one being used there.
I guess what I'm asking is where does the Full Optimization process gather the 'Shadow Cube' name from? It is not picking up the correct InfoCube.
Thanks so much in advance!
Kind regards,
Luisa
But why not to enable fixed cube name?

For some inexplicable reason, the users really want to keep the Full Optimization, which from what I gather, isn't necessary with the fixed cube name? Not quite sure, please correct me if I'm wrong. If this isn't the case, then sure, it seems like a fixed cube name would be the solution.
Thanks so much for the prompt reply!
"inexplicable" ...
And next time the users will ask you about something strange!
There is no benefit of not enabling fixed cube name...
No full optimize - useless.
