hi

the problem may be due to number range buffering

Go to SNRO and Select Object DEBITOR Customer Master Number ranges and Remove the Buffer and Check Once.

Hi Venakt ramana

Assuming that you are working in a testing server Sometimes there are some probabilities when the other user can also use the same number range and account group. Now you might be creating the customers in the serial order which is correct . But assuming that the customer has suddenly made that number range as external number range and created CMR with the number he need .

say for example number range is 1-1000

You have created upto customers upto 10 . but the other user might have made the number range external and created CMR with the number 11 . Now again when you create CMR it will save it to 12 . So for you it will be jumping from 10 to 12 .

Hi Venkata ramana

Sometimes the number skips and jumps into the alternate number . say from 1 to 3 . So there might be a skip or there should be some number range buffer problem. So it is better to take help of a BASIS consultant.
