SAP System Restriction

Hi Guru's

Is it possible for the SAP Basis administrator to restrict the system so that no users can log in except for the Basis administrator and a few privilegded users ?

As I know, we had only Z program to lock user without some of the previliged.

In case you need lock client used this solution>>

You can lock a system at the OS level by running: tp locksys <SID> pf=tpprofile

Example: To lock your DEV system enter this command: tp locksys DEV pf=saptranshostsapmnttransbintp_domain_dev.pfl

Only SAP* and DDIC can log on, so those users are for Basis admins

One more think, maybe useful in your case.

During currency changeover , we used satndard program EWULKUSR which is avalaible at ERP system

So maybe useful in your case .

Lock users in mass via SU10

You can mass lock user via SU10 otherwise one by one in SU01

What I have in mind is something similar to how database restriction works in Oracle database ie when the system is restricted only users with RESTRICTED SESSION priviledge can access the database.

Does SAP have such functionality ?

Nope... you need to lock the users in order to prevent them from logging in
