Hi experts,
Please explain me full flow of warehouse management like after GR(MIGO) that is movement type 101 what will happen? from in to out.............
Thank you
Sap MM
Hello,
When you move the material into warehouse it is called Putaway and when you move out it is called picking. In transfer posting it can be both as it might move out of ware houise or move into ware house. So accordingly it will be either putaway or picking. In the case of Goods issue, it will be picking as material is picking against Production order, Reservation or even a delivery.
I hope this helps.

After MIGO,Once you post GR this will create Transfer order for your ware house.
then you have to confirm TO in LT12 transaction.
Then stock will reflect at warehouse level. You can view stock LS24 transaction.

MIGO will create a tranfer request.
User looks up open TRs in e.g. LB10 and converts the TR into a TO.
A document is printed and given to the warehouse worker.
warehouse worker puts away the material to the bin that is listed in the TO document.
When done then the TO is confirmed with LT12.

Hi Maria,
This is a very broad subject.
"Other" GI:
GI is booked in IM (e.g. MB1A + 201) > after that you get a TR > processing the TR (LB10) you get the TO > confirm the TO (LT11 / LT12 / LT22)
Delivery
Delivery is created (e.g. VL06O, VL01N) > Create TO for delivery (VL06O(or directly VL06P / VL02N / LT03)) > Confirmation (VL06O / LT22 / LT12) > GI (VL06O / VL02N)
The processes described by Jurgen and me are the basic scenarios, there are other processes as well.
Regards,
Csaba
