how to create portal?

hi experts,

i am new learner in web dynpro abap..i have requirment to create a portal and run the web dynpro component in portal..

so please let me know what tool i use to create portal ..and how to create portal..

as well as how to run web component in portal.

Enterprise Portal is a SAP component. If you have Netweaver 2004s and above then you might have a portal configured within you land scape confirm with your system admin or Basis person.

Once portal is configured corectly you can navigate to start page of portal using following address.

http:<servername>:<port>/irj/portal

check the SAP documentation on Enterprise Portal.
