Archiving incidents in SAP Solman 7.1 SP12 and make them available to SAP Solman 7.2 SPS 07

Dear Experts

We have a requirement to have incidents from our old SAP Solman 7.1 system to the new Installation of SAP Solman 7.2. From SAP Note 2418817 - Migrating Incidents from SAP Solution Manager 7.1 to 7.2 - ITSM, it is not possible unless we upgrade.

Please advise if we can archive incidents to a file system location and make them accessible from new SAP Solution Manager 7.2

This is a classical SAP data migration requirement and there are many tools that could help you with it. Depending on the size of your migration project, SAP Advanced Data Migration by BackOffice Associates could be a good solution.
