Utilization cost of Equitment

Hi All ,

I have one concern about the Utilization cost of Equitment.

My customer having more than 1000 Equipment which they allocate to their different locations.

As per the purchasing cost of equipment they decisdes the Per day rate of equipment.

If some equiment is allocated to one location they charge as followes

Ideal: (Allocated to location but not in use called Ideal)

Used: (Using 8 Hrs in a day)

Extra: (Working more than 8 Hrs)

Rates for above stages they cahrge

Ideal 80% of actual Utilization rate

Used 100% (i.e.Actual Rate)

Extra 180% of Actual rate

I maintained a activity type for every equipment and assign it to work center

from which i can make a workorder and settle the amount on WBS , for Used Satus.

my concern is how should i settle the amount for Ideal and Extra status as the rate is different

for each?

If i make activity types for every satges then it is a complicted job.

Is there any other way to work out for this ??
