SPDD/SPAU adjustment in EHP3 upgrade

hi

we are installing Ehp3 for ERP6.0 SR3 using Saint in Background mode.

(its giving timeout error in foreground execution)

we want to know when SPDD/SPAU adjustment has to be done during SAINT execution. because during

background execution we will not be able see the screen asking input for Modification.

Any suggestion please.
