Can any one explain the pre req before using cat2 Tcode.

Hi Chandrasai,

The following will be the pre-requisites to use the CAT2 TCode,

1. You need to create personnel numbers in SAP system as mini HR records.

2. You need to use the infotypes 0001 - Organization assignment and 0002 -Personnl Data.

3. Define the data entry profile in customizing of CATS.

Some of these also-

Maintain sender cost center and activity type in the master data of the person. Maintain the rate in KP26 for the same.

If you are going to assign persons in the activity then.. activate the capacity planning...

dear,

you can set up data entry profile for PS in corss applicatns->timesheet->specific settings for CATS regular>CATS regular>record working time --->set up data entry profiles
