RG1 register not getting updated

Hii All,

In J1id i have maintained : chapter id, material and chapter id combination, cenvat determination. But RG1 register is not getting updated.

Please let me know if i am missing anything

Hi vijay,

Until and unless your are not extract the data using the t-code J215 system says no data exits.

So extract the data for RG1 register in J215 and then try.

You can take print using the T code- J216

Hi all,

Updated the RG1 using t code J1I5

Then extracted using J2I5 & then used J2I6.

But only quantity is updated. No values are seen.

can anyone tell what is missing?

Check in two places

- In J1ID, for the combination of material, plant and chapter id, you should have maintained RG1 under the tab "Mat.type".

- Go to OMS2, select the material type and double click on "Quantity/Value Updation. There check whether you have ticked both the boxes "Qty updating" and "Value updating".

Dear Vijay,

For updating RG1 register, Go to, T. Code: J1I5

Enter Company Code, Plant, Excise Group, Posting Date and Classification and select RG1.

Select all the lines and simulate, If you get the green light, then click on create button to update the register entries.

Oss notes

first u need to update the register in J1i5 for classification types RMA , IDH,,etc

and then extract the register in J2I5 and print in J2I6
