Repost as question/Restart time of netweaver server

Hello Experts,

I'm reposting this thread as a question so I can award you points.

Where can I look up at what time my netweaver server was restarted?

I don't think I have ST02/RZ20 (or do I?)... There is no ABAP installed, just Java

Are there any logs/overviews where I can find those settings if I have a Java-only setup?

Best regards,

Florian

Hai,

You can check the startup logs under the home directory of the <sid>adm user.

It will look like startsap_SCSxx.log.

Check the developer trace and log files are located in the /usr/sap/SID/inst_name/work directory, where SID is the system ID of the cluster (for example, C11) and inst_name is the instance name of the instance (for example, DVEBMGS00 or JC01). For example startsap.log, dev_jstart, etc.,

You can also check the details uisng the Internet address.

http://your FQDN:5xxxx/sld

Here you will see 'Administration' click on that and then click on 'Details' this will give the server details.

You can also check the timestamp of the instance.properties file ( /usr/sap/SID/instance_name/j2ee/cluster/instance.properties ), which is used for synchronizing the information with the database. This file is created every time Java instance is started.
