Availability check & Automatic PR

Hii,

I have one trading scenario.

I have an order of 100. The stock available is 70.

Then the system should confirm 70 quantity & should raise a PR for remaining 30 quantity after saving the sales order.

Item category is TAB (create automatic PO is ticked)

Schedule line category is CB

When i save the sales order i get the PR for whole 100 qty. Actually it should give PR for only 30.

Please help.

Hi

You cannot use a stock item (70 quantity) while using the item categories TAB or TAS. If you wish to create an individual purchase order for the 30 quantity..........create two line items with 70 and 30 quantities and with item categories TAN and TAB repectively. Then a PR for 30 quantity will be created.

When using item category TAB....though you have a stock of 70 or even if you have total 100...the system will create a PR for the entire order quantity and will not consider the stock available.

If you have created a sales order for 100pcs with item category TAB & schedule lline category CB. then the system confirms the purchase requisition of 100pcs. But when you create a purchase order for 100pcs and when you do MIRO confirm only 30pcs initially and then again confirm 70pcs when you do MIRO .
