Promoting a file event overwrites the "Secret" value of the target environment's process server

Hi experts,

We noticed that when we are promoting file events from one environment to another (e.g. DEV to QA), the process server in the target environment that is related to the file event shuts down as it's "secret" value is being overwritten with the value from the source.

Is this an issue or is there something we should do to prevent this?

Many thanks and best regards,

Chris

Hello,

Do not promote the Process Server with the File Event to prevent this.

Hi Gerben,

Sorry for the late reply. What about if we are promoting a chain with a wait event (waiting for a file event)? Is there a way to not include the Process Server when we promote with related objects?

Many thanks and best regards,

Chris

Hi,

No unfortunately not out of the box. You can remove the Process Servers from the car file before importing.

Hi,

We have encountered this as well, it´s very annoying that the description of the Queues are being overwritten. :/

This seems to be fixed in 9.0.21.0; Promoting job does not write Queue field (Id: 51061).
