Hi,
I have one Article Hierarchy with Multiple Article Assignment Active. I also have OTB check activated.
Now how will the Seasonal PO determine, which budget to subtract the money from when there are more than one budget available for the same article.
Does the system make use of the Main Artiicle Assginment Flag ? Or must I implement some badi.
Best wishes,
Dheeraj

Hello,
the multiple assignments of the article hierarchy are generally handled within the Open to Buy concept.
The standard proceeding is, that multiple budget buckets will be determined by the system and presented to the user in form of a pop-up, from which he/she can choose the appropriate budget bucket. However this proceeding is customizable and can be switched off. In such a case a BAdI can be used in order to implement a logic, which budget should be chosen by the system automatically.
In standard system there is no automatic determination of the main assignment available. This would need to be enhanced through the above mentioned BAdI.
Should you have any further inquires concerning the detailed concepts of OTB functionalities, please do not hesitate the SAP Consulting Field Services.
Best regards
