Error in ESS

Hi All,

I am getting the following error if I login and click the overview button.

com.sap.tc.webdynpro.services.exceptions.WDRuntimeException: ComponentUsage(FPMConfigurationUsage): Active component must exist when getting interface controller. (Hint: Have you forgotten to create it with createComponent()? Should the lifecycle control of the component usage be "createOnDemand"?

And If I use one more log in ID I am getting the other error. I am able to click Overview -> Employee search -> who's who . After clicking Who's Who ,I am getting the following error :

" User <UserID> does not exist in this period "

Can any body help on this please..? Thank you in advance...

Hi,

This error generally comes due to configuration issue in R3. Ask HR guy to map the user to existing PERNO.

Hi,

It is basically a HR guy work. They need to map your portal user ID to the existing PERNO under PA30.

Then this error won't come.

The error what you are getting is not 2 differenent issue.

Hi,

In transaction PA30,enter any valid employee number.

Then give the infotype at the bottom left as 0105 (means communication) and

the subtype entry as 0002(user-name,if I am correct..If not select the subtype equivalent to user-name) and in the subsequent screen give the portal user id and save.

Hope the portal user id and R/3 user id are same

I feel both the errors will be resolved by doing this
