I have a requirement to map a windows shared drive to SAP system. I have a windows server shared drive path which need to be accessible from SAP. The sap server and the windows server are in a same network. Is there any way to map the drives from SAP.

    Yes,

    Here are the steps.

First, share your windows directory. (I recommend making it wide open to ge this working and then start limiting the security from there.)

Log in to SAP and go to t-code FILE.

On the left-hand side, click on logical file path and click new entries. You may have to change from display to change mode.

Enter your desired name for your logical destination and save.

Now select your new line and double click on the "ASSIGNMENT OF PHYSICAL PATHS TO LOGICAL PATH." folder under the LOGICAL FILE PATH DEFINITION folder.

    click the New Entries button.

In syntax group, select Windows NT.

Then put in the physical path.
