Custom CDS View App - New CDS not visible

Hi,

We are using the CDS View App and upon clicking of Add Primary Data Source, it shows the delivered CDS views.

I have the following query:

I have developed a CDS view which is visible in KPI design and i can create a KPI, evaluation,drilldown and Tile on it.

The same CDS is not visible in Custom CDS view App, how to make it available there as a new Primary Data Source so i can develop an Analytical query on that.

In order to appear in the "Custom CDS views", the CDS needs to be released.

mee to i laready created my own custom CDS in ecplise avalaible for KPI design and i can create a KPI, evaluation,drilldown and Tile on it is possibile to se it in custom CDS app ?

I read i have to release CDS but why ?
