Does anybody has knowledge about how can we maintain/manage a business process of creating a Product Demo request in CRM?
The business requirement is that we need to have a Demo Request created for a product by a Sales Representative based on the Opportunity status.

Below is the solution for your query.
In opportunity you should have action profile. This profile should have action by which an Activity should get triggered when you set a particular status for the opportunity.
The activity which is getting triggered, should have Activity Journal tab enabled. Also should have templates assigned to it.
With the properly designed templates you can record the demos being carried out or samples sent out for demo.
