Kernel can't be installed on Windows Server 2003

Hi,

I try to install MaxDB 7.6.09 on Windows Server 2003.

As I've to do a local development before make it productiv I installed Windows 2003 on VMWare.

But when I try to install the MaxDB the instalation of the kernel hangs.

I tried it three times and again with a new installation of Windows Server 2003 but the problem is ever the same.

The Base and the Server Utilities are installed fine and than MaxDB try to install the kernel for hours.

When I try reinstall it with the Installation Manager and choose the kernel from the last installation I get the message that this kernel is invalid.

The Systemlogs display none errors so I've no idea what's wrong here.

User: Administrator

OS: Windows Server 2003 Enterprise in VMWare Workstation 6.5

RAM: 512MB

Any solutions for?

Thanks,

Andre
