hi,
this is more of curiosity. At my workplace, one id and password is being used by two (or more users). Is there any way by which System restrict others, if already one user is logged in with the same id and password?
thnaks...
Dear Yogi
In that case multiple users can access same tcode but they cannot change or modify a particular field at the sametime. For example, if one user is in VA02 accessing a sale order ABC, subsequent users cannot access the same sale order in VA02 mode. They can see only in display (VA03) mode.
This is applicable to all standard TCodes.
thanks

Dear Yogi,
Best Advise from my side, speak to your BASIS-Admin or post your Query in to [Forum: SAP NetWeaver Administrator|; or [Forum: Security|;
Why, I am suggesting, this to you, because neither its a SD-CAll nor SD-Consultant would able to restrict it (until, he is also BASIS-Person).
Moreover, its not you or me, who decide the authorization/ restriction, its Management's call.
If, its just curiosity or knwledge-gain, its ok, but if its requirement, go by the advise. Ofcourse, final call would be yours.
As far as one suggestion about, login/disable_multi_gui_login or rdisp/gui_auto_logout, you may refer:
alonwith, another thread:
But, they might hardly help you.
Best Regards,
Amit
