The IMPORT package uses the default transformation file called Import , if you donot specify a transformation file. So, you have 2 options when building a process for importing data: Build a new Transformation file or edit the existing Import transformation file. Depending on the style of the data file to load, you will likely need to edit the mapping section and the options to match your needs. The only time that is not true, is if your excel header exactly matches all the dimnesion names and you have disabled the SPECIFIC MAPPING OPTION. The options are the instructions and the MAPPING are the method to link the data file to the application you are loading. LAstly, the conversion files will translate any external records members to internal record memebrs, based on the Conversion file statements.

So, most likely you need to link the columns of the import file to the dimensions in your application and provide the right commands for any conversion that needs to take place duiring a load process.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,

Check if dimension member STORE1 is added to your entity dimension.

    regards,

    Hi Check

If the entity dimension members in your data file and the appset are matching and if they are not matching change the dimension memebers names according to data file or use a conversion file to match the entity names in data file and to that being used in BPC

You can greatly improve your chance of receiving a helpful answer to your question if you state the version (MS or NW) and the release (5.1, 7.0, 7.5) of BPC which you are using.

Also notice the sticky [note|; at the top of this forum whereby we announced new dedicated forums for BPC which are the proper place to post your questions regarding BPC in the future.

Finally I bring to your attention the [Rules of Engagement|https://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/HOME/RulesofEngagement] for asking questions here on SDN. Specifically step 2...
