When working in the project there is an stage where u have to deside CUTOVER STARTEGY

before go live phase can any one expalin what

CUTOVER STARTEGY means in project point of view.

Dear

Cut over is nothing all the Master datas and some transactional data should moved to the production server.

Master data

1) BOM 2) Work center 3) Routing

Transactional data

1) As of the cut off date, there should not be any work in progress.All the open production orders to be closed and semi should be dismantled and should be added as raw materials.
