unable to create PGI

Hi I am getting big time problem to create PGI in delivery and i am not able to do my stock posting through MB1C Error-- Period 002/2009 is not open for account type S and G/L 799999. AND I HAVE CHECKED MMPV, MMRV, omsy/ob52 and omwd I am attaching my screen shot for you, could you please help me out.

Hi,

this is very easy,

go to img, financial accounting (new), Ledgers,Fiscal Year and Posting Periods,Posting Periods,Open and Close Posting Periods and select ur variant and select Account type S and give current posting period for that. save it exit.

try now and revert back if problem is solved.

Dear Prashant,

This is what, you have done wrong.

In such a case you must consult you FI-Personnel, as this is his job to ensure all relevant settings, like OB52, etc. must be in Place.

Important: This is very important for you to know the Fiscal Year Variant, attcahed to your Company Code. The settings could be checked in T. Code: OBY6.

If, its V3, then first period, would be April (as 01) and so on.

If, its K4, then first period, would be January (as 01) and so on.

Based, upon Variant, maintain your Settings in T. Code: OB52/ OMSY, and other relevant Transactions, i.e OMWD and MMPV
