Blank SAPINST during installation

Hi,
I am running sapinst for one of my installations in UNIX+Oracle. However, only blank screen appears everytime I run sapinst. Here are the steps.
1. Run telnet using reflection X
2. Login as root
3. Go to the Installation Master DVD .../IM_HPUX_PARISC
4. Execute > export DISPLAY=<IP address of local PC>:0.0
5. Execute > ./startInstGui.sh
Then the sapinst appears with blank screen.
Do I missed any steps to make it work?

> 5. Execute > ./startInstGui.sh
This just starts the gui but no backend control process.
Execute "./sapinst"
