IoT Scenario with Raspberry PI as MQTT Client and SCP Cloud Foundry

Dear all,

I've to setup a scenario with Raspberry PI as MQTT client connected to a temperature sensor and send values to SAP IoT cockpit in Cloud Foundry environment.

I'm referring to the following blog:

In order to model Raspberry PI have I to configure a device with Alternate ID equal to MAC address of Raspberry and choose as Gateway the preconfigured IoT Gateway MQTT (see screen-shot below) ?

Is this enough to open visibility between Raspberry and SCP IoT Cloud Foundry environment?
