We have a SAP Query report auto generated.

Have several text elements in that report and can see them in Report->GoTo->Text Elements (with warning message 'some inconsistencies') . Now i got requirement to translate them into ES(Spanish) language . I am unable to do that and not sure how to do that also.

Note: For some of selection screen fields i was able to translate in SQ07.

Anyone can help me out on this issue.

What do you mean by "auto generated"? How would you have any custom text (that would need to be translated) in "auto generated" program?

Google -> "translate text in SQ01 query site:sap.com" -> several existing SCN posts on this.

Hello Nageswara Reddy Alla,

you can try goto->Translation and then you can translate as you want. By the way, if the report not active or inconsistencies, so you can not translate them. You have to active it or you have to correct the inconsistencies, then all text elements could be translated.

OP seems to be asking specifically about ABAP Query (SQ01), not about a custom ABAP report. Even though the queries are, essentially, ABAP reports too it's not exactly the same thing.

I got it now, SQ01, so I think he can do it also by SQ07 as he mentioned it. Or he can review your answer from 2014 😉

Main reason for this requirement is , Text Elements are getting translated automatically but the client want changes in those texts in Spanish so i need a way to change those Translated texts.

Sorry, this comment does not help.

The queries are usually built on the dictionary tables / elements. Those come with standard translation, no need for any action. The very few texts that are maintained directly in query are translated in SQ07, as you've already discovered.

"The client want changes in those texts in Spanish" - sorry, I can't understand this. What changes in what "those texts"? What else could be in a query?

What exactly is the question / problem?

Text elements used in Query are getting translated into Spanish automatically but client want different than the translated one like synonym to a word, based on their business they want bit different text than the standard translation.
